Summary
Journeying to the Light is intended for daily reading from Advent Sunday to Epiphany, primarily based on the Eucharistic readings of each day. It can be adapted for varying lengths of Advent and for individual or group use. The author blends contemporary trends, biblical themes, and personal experiences, with the Incarnation at its core: anticipated by prophets, joyfully experienced through Luke’s words, and proclaimed to the nations by the Magi as recorded by Matthew.

Critics Review
‘a light touch, balancing profound commentary with personal anecdote’
* Search Journal *‘Filled with striking insights based on experience, this is a book to buy, read and, in time, reread.’
* The Irish Catholic *‘What a genuinely lovely thing this is. [Mann’s] writing reflects both the heart of a priest and the pen of a poet, [with] thoughtful, eloquent, and generative reflections on Scripture. There are many lovely touches, including gentle and wise prayers to use before and after engaging with the readings.’
* Church of Ireland Gazette *About The Author
