About The Author
John Lazzaro
John Lazzaro is a documentary filmmaker and documentary photographer based on Long Island, New York. His main focus is capturing abandoned buildings and vanishing architecture throughout New England. Lazzaro is a member of the Firefly Gallery in Northport, New York, and fotofoto gallery in Huntington, New York.
Thomas Mellins is the coauthor of New York 1880, New York 1930, and New York 1960 and the curator of numerous exhibitions, including The New York Public Library: Celebrating 100 Years. In 1999 he was designated a Centennial Historian of New York City.
