Colonel John Antal U.S. Army (Ret.) is the author of over a dozen books on military and leadership subjects, including Seven Seconds to Die: A Military Analysis of the Second Nagorno-Karabakh War and the Future of Warfighting (Casemate, 2022) and Next War: Reimagining How We Fight (Casemate, 2023). With 30 years of army service, he commanded at all levels from platoon to regiment.
