I love this book. I like to pick it up when i have a few spare minutes as it is indeed a treasury. I’m not sure if I’ll actually try any of the recipes, but it is so very interesting.

Fantastic book. Clear pictures so you can easily identify the plants. Nz specific so much better than a lot of others that are overseas based with plants that we don't have. If I was just going to have one foraging book this would be it.

This book is very informative and offers a good introduction to foraging for plants. It also gives helpful instructions and recipes for their use. Being a beginner myself, I may have found more photographs of the plants helpful.
However, this is still a book I will refer to often to help me make the best use of what I would usually have pulled out and thrown in the compost, without ever giving any thought to using them for their health promoting properties.
I recomend this book to anyone who is interested in finding and using the hiden treasures in our natural surroundings.
