About The Author
Joel Klein
Joel Klein served as Chancellor of the New York City Department of Education from 2002 to 2011. Earlier in his career, he served as CEO of the U.S. arm of Bertelsmann, Assistant U.S. Attorney General in charge of the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, and Deputy White House Counsel. He currently serves as the CEO of the Education Division, Amplify, and EVP at News Corp. He lives in New York City.
