About The Author
Joanne Crawford
Joanne Crawford is descended from the Nhunda people of the Geraldton area of WA. She holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Education and a degree in Early Childhood Education, and has worked for many years on developing educational resources for school curriculums. Joanne is the author of I Remember, A Home for Bilby (WA Premier s Award for Best Children s Book 2004) and Bilby and the Bushfire.
Grace Fielding was raised at the Wandering Mission south east of Perth, Western Australia. She lived in Broome for many years where she is well known for her unique style of art and fabric printing, combining traditional dot art with contemporary images. Grace has won the Crichton Award for Illustration, and the WA Premier’s Children’s Book Award.
