Jim Burnstein is a successful Hollywood screenwriter who achieved his career goals without relocating from his home in Plymouth, Michigan.

As Vice Chair of the Council, Burnstein was instrumental in advocating for the Michigan Film Incentive program, which was enacted in 2008.
