Buzz Sausage Wolf and the Smelly Cat

Jim Beckett is the children’s fiction author of Buzz Sausage Wolf and two middle-grade novels (Caravan at the Edge of Doom). An engaging public speaker and former teacher, Jim regularly visits schools, inspiring staff and pupils with his dynamic and entertaining assemblies and workshops.

For many years, Jim wrote and performed comedy as one half of critically acclaimed double act Bob and Jim, hosting London residencies and appearing at Underbelly, Soho Theatre and on BBC Radio Four. Jim’s stage comedies and musicals have been performed in London, Edinburgh and Milan. He has also worked as a pest control administrator, census collector, bank clerk, seasonal elf and bookseller.

Jim grew up in Chandler’s Ford and now lives with his family in West Sussex.

Aurelie Lise Anne (Illustrator)

Aurelie Lise-Anne is a Belgian illustrator and animation art director, with experience in children’s picture books, educational publishing and animation, and has worked on film and television releases such as Klaus and The Adventures of Paddington. Her outstanding illustrations are characterful, expressive and humorous, and have brought Buzz Sausage Wolf to life. She lives in Belgium with her very own loveable sausage dog!
