Critics Review

My favourite aspect of the book was how everything is in black/white and intricatepatterns so that you can colour it all in. Mindful colouring is known to be veryrelaxing and calming. This amount of detail allows the reader to fully immersethemselves in the activities and colouring in the space around them.I found this book useful in enforcing what I’d learned during my own CBTsessions. The art aspect was really helpful in helping me wind down and regaincomposure in moments when I just needed to step back and take a breather.Going back through it to see what you’ve written/drawn before is also useful forany periods of relapse where you need that reminder that you can be in controland there are ways to help you through everyday life.

Jen incorporates understanding of anxiety with practical interventions. A must have book for both practitioners or self help.
