About the Author

Jeff Wrathall is a Lecturer in Higher Education at William Angliss Institute of TAFE, Melbourne. He teaches Innovation Management, Business Planning and Event Management. He holds a PhD in Education from Monash University, a Master of International Trade and Investment Law from Deakin University, a Master of Administration from Monash University and a Bachelor of Econonomics from Latrobe University.Jeff has previously worked as the Director of Australia-China Executive Training and has managed a range of corporate events for Chinese executives in China and Australia. He has held a number of academic positions, including a one-year appointment as an Associate Professor at Wuhan Iron and Steel University in China. He was also a Senior Lecturer at Monash University for approximately 20 years.Abby Gee has extensive event management experience spanning some 16 years. She is the principal of music and events company One Little Indian Enterprises, and lectures in Event Management at both the William Angliss Institute of TAFE and Swinburne University, Melbourne.Her previous and current client roster includes Future Entertainment, Premier Artists, Fuzzy, the Australian Independent Record Labels Association Awards, the Honourable Al Gore's Climate Project and His Holiness the Dalai Lama's national tour as natational events manager.Abby's academic record evidences her solid foundation in event management theory: Abby has a Music Business Diploma from Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA; an Advanced Diploma in Events from Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne; and a Bachelor of Business (Music Industry) from Victoria University, Melbourne. Abby is currently completing her Bachelor of Laws at Victoria University.
