About the Author

Jeff Kinney is a #1 New York Times bestselling author and five-time Nickelodeon Kids&; Choice Award winner for Favorite Book. Jeff has been named one of Time magazine&;s 100 Most Influential People in the World. He is also the creator of Poptropica, which was named one of Time magazine&;s 50 Best Websites. He spent his childhood in the Washington, D.C., area and moved to New England in 1995. Jeff lives with his wife and two sons in southern Massachusetts, where he has a bookstore, An Unlikely Story. Monsignor Daniel B. Gallagher, a priest of the Diocese of Gaylord (U.S.A.), is currently assigned to the Office of Latin Letters at the Vatican Secretariat of State. He completed a B.S. and M.A. at the University of Michigan, an M.A. at the Catholic University of America, and a S.T.L. and Ph.D. at the Pontifical Gregorian University. He formerly taught philosophy and Latin at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, Michigan. His study of medieval philosophy led to a passion for Latin, which he now teaches at the Paideia Institute for Humanistic Study.
