About the Author

Janet Lynn Pierce has a PhD. in English, Composition and TESOL, has written historical feature articles for the Tribune Review, as well as been an editor, newspaper reporter and photographer for a local weekly newspaper. She has won numerous poetry awards and her nonfiction writing has won a Pennwriters award. Her ESL instructional book, Teaching Els- Cultural Implications, Communications, Connections and Curriculum, is used by English as a Second Language Teachers all over the country and world. Her publications also include 2020 poetry and flash fiction published on the St. David's Website; and in 2021 her flash fiction story Afterward was published in Agape Review . In August 14, 2022 her creative nonfiction story An Unexpected Angel was published in Janet L. Pierce - Agape Review.
