Critics Review
“This book offers an exemplary overview of the options available to help identify bipolar spectrum disorders. Highly recommended. Graduate students, faculty, and professionals.” -CHOICE, American Library Association
“Kleiger, Weiner, and the other experts contributing to Psychological Assessment of Bipolar Spectrum Disorders offer a scholarly, contemporary, and highly practical guide to understanding the primary tools for assessing the bipolar spectrum of conditions and for using those tools in an integrated multimethod assessment to facilitate differential diagnosis. The multiple case illustrations help to make this an excellent resource for clinical assessors at all stages of their career.” - Gregory J. Meyer, PhD, Professor of Psychology, University of Toledo, Toledo, OH, United States
“Drs. Kleiger and Weiner have gathered a stellar team of scholars in psychological assessment to share their expert knowledge on the diagnosis of bipolar spectrum disorders. Although bipolar disorders have been studied for more than a century, they are often misdiagnosed, resulting in less-than-optimal treatment outcomes. This book sensitizes students as well as novice and experienced clinicians to the differential diagnosis, comorbidity, and multicultural aspects of bipolar disorders while advocating a multimethod approach to psychological assessment.” - Corine de Ruiter, PhD, Professor of Forensic Psychology, Maastricht University, Maastricht, the Netherlands<.i>.
