About The Author
Jake Weidmann
Jake Weidmann is a professional artist and one of only nine certified Master Penmen in the world. He earned his certification through IAMPETH (International Association of Master Penmen, Engrossers, and Teachers of Handwriting) in July 2011. Jake holds the distinction of being the youngest Master Penman by three decades, and the youngest ever to achieve the title. His expertise in calligraphy forms the foundation of his artwork, with traditional calligraphic flourishing integrated into his fine art pieces. Jake is self-taught in calligraphy, painting, drawing, woodworking, and engraving. He has collaborated with Apple, Inc., Crossway Books, and Biola University, and has presented at events such as TEDx and Q, in addition to being featured on the PBS series, A Craftsman’s Legacy.
