Professor, Foshan University, China. Former Vice President and Dean of the School of Future Technology at South China University of Technology. Member of the Teaching Steering Committee for Electronic Information under the Ministry of Education, Director of the Engineering Research Center for Human Data Perception (Ministry of Education), and Director of the Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Digital Human Twins. Research interests include artificial intelligence and its applications in human health and energy. Led/undertook over 20 projects. Published over 70 papers in top journals and conferences, with a highly cited paper receiving nearly 4,000 citations. Holds over 50 authorized invention patents. Received the First Prize of the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Awards in 2023.
