Hozefa Ebrahim is an anaesthetist and intensivist at University Hospitals Birmingham, and college tutor for anaesthesia. He has written two previous anaesthetic exam practice books: Practice Single Best Answer Questions for the Final FRCA (Cambridge, 2012) and 1,000 Practice MTF MCQs for the Primary and Final FRCA (Cambridge, 2019). David Ashton-Cleary is a consultant in Critical Care and Anaesthesia at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. He has a particular interest in medical education, and runs a number of specialist national training courses devoted to ultrasound in critical care, exam preparation and transfer medicine. He is also the author of two previous books: Key Clinical Topics in Anaesthesia (2014) and Recent Advances in Critical Care (2016).
