About The Author
Helen H. Durrant
Helen is married with two daughters, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She lives in the North West of England, surrounded by the beautiful, rugged scenery of the Pennine foothills.
Approaching retirement, Helen decided to try her hand at writing. Initially, she attempted romance but found it difficult to begin. She then turned to crime writing.
For her first novel, Helen spent weeks selecting a name for the main character. Once chosen, she was able to write the first novel, followed quickly by a sequel and a third book. Helen discovered a love for writing, creating stories and getting to know the characters that emerged from her imagination. She feels she knows these people intimately, understanding their motivations and drives.
Now many years into retirement, Helen’s family encourages her to relax, but she cannot abandon her writing. Since her first book, it has become an obsession.
