Sparkling storytelling * Evening Standard *
Having read and re-read her previous books, I’ve been awaiting this new Helen Carey novel for a good long while and am thrilled to say that the wait was ( more than) well worth it… All the hallmarks of novel writing at its very best - strong characters, wonderful plot lines, thorough research and vivid imagination * Amazon Reader *
The emotions and behaviours of the characters are realistically represented and the reader is quickly drawn to wanting to follow the drama and discover the outcome. Hope we don’t have to wait as long for the next one… I want to know what happens next! * Amazon Reader *
What a great read! I really loved this book and found it hard to put down! I found the book exciting, funny and touching. I can’t recommend it enough. * Amazon Reader *
