Description

The second book in an engaging, dip-in series all about worries, themed by age as worries change as children get older.

A reassuring, practical new series to help children build coping skills and resilience.

What if someone is bullying me?
What if I’m bad at P.E. and sports?
What if I keep imagining scary stuff?

Packed with helpful tips to help 6 year olds think about their fears and learn how to soothe them, this book is an ideal starting point for parents to start conversations about worries.

30 questions and answers cover topics from school, trips to the park and visiting friends to sport, performing and going to the shops – delivered with warmth, empathy and gentle humour.

With bright, engaging and gently humorous illustrations from rising star Samara Hardy.

Perfect for fans of A Huge Bag of Worries, Worrysaurus, Poppy O’Neill’s Don’t Worry, Be Happy and You’re a Star and Tom Percival’s Big Bright Feelings series.

Consultancy by expert Educational Psychologist Dr Miquela Walsh, DEdPsych, MsC (Dist), BSc (Hons), PCPC accredited.

About the Author

Hannah Wilson is an award-winning children’s non-fiction author and editor. During the past 25 years, she has made more than 100 books about nature, history, literacy, science and technology. Hannah loves creating books that inspire children to think for themselves. When she is not busy with tricky languages – Hannah has a degree in ancient Greek and is studying Mandarin Chinese – she can be found climbing rocks, running through parks and hanging out with her two young sons. Hannah lives in Devon.

Samara Hardy has always loved to draw. Unfortunately for her parents, this was often on their walls with her mother's lipstick. Realizing she might make a career out of this she studied illustration at Falmouth University and, since graduating in 2014, has worked with clients across the globe on picture books, homewares, greetings cards and more. She currently lives and works from her home studio in a small village just outside Tunbridge Wells.
