Graham Shaw
Graham Shaw is a theoretical particle physicist who taught for many years at the University of Manchester. His other successful textbooks include Particle Physics (4th edition 2017) and An Introduction to Nuclear and Particle Physics (3rd edition 2019), both with Brian Martin.
Franz Mandl (1923–2009) was a British theoretical physicist celebrated for his teaching. He was a co-founder and editor of the renowned Manchester Physics textbook series, to which he contributed the books on Statistical Physics (2nd edition 1988) and Quantum Mechanics (1992).
