Gilly Cameron-Cooper is a writer and editor from London who also runs a walking holiday company. She is the author of Beatrix Potter’s Lake District. Gilly started work as a reporter and has since written, edited, and directed many general reference books for adults and children. She has been senior commissioning editor, natural history at Harpercollins, contributing editor to many Reader’s Digest special books, head of reference at Quarto Publishing, and director of the children’s list at Anness Publishing.
