German Bickbau, also known as Gera Sheriff, is a former detective with the Broward Sheriff’s Office in Florida, USA. During his 23-year career in law enforcement, he progressed from a patrol deputy sheriff to a criminal investigations detective. For over 12 years, he investigated serious crimes, including homicides, armed assaults, domestic violence, firearms offenses, organized crime, and fraud. After retiring, he created the Russian-language project GERA SHERIFF, which focuses on the work of US police, criminal law, investigations, personal safety, and a practical understanding of the American legal system.
