Critics Review
Few people understand trauma-informed practice the way Gemma and Jessica do, and it shines through every page. This is about how we hold children and staff when things get hard. The case studies stayed with me, and the audits and action plans mean you can put this to use straight away. Essential reading. – Pooky Knightsmith, PhD, CPsychol, MA (Oxon), Autistic Speaker, Author, Advisor and AssessorAn essential, compassionate guide for school leaders. This book expertly bridges the gap between trauma awareness and actionable, whole-school mental health strategies. It is a vital resource for fostering resilience and supporting both student and staff wellbeing – Clare Erasmus, Designated Mental Health Lead Advisor and author of The Mental Health and Wellbeing Handbook for SchoolsThis is an excellent guide to trauma‑informed practice in schools. The authors’ deep understanding of both the research and real‑world school contexts really shines through.
