Frida Kahlo
Frida Kahlo (1907–1954) was a painter known for her vivid, deeply personal self-portraits exploring identity, pain, and resilience. Though often linked to Surrealism, she drew more from Mexican folk art and her own lived experiences. Her work is featured in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Tate Gallery in London, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the Museo de Arte Moderno in Mexico City.
Larry Warsh has been active in the art world for more than thirty years as a publisher and artist-collaborator. He was a founding member of the Basquiat Authentication Committee and is the editor of many books, including Jean-Michel Basquiat’s The Notebooks, Ono-isms, Warhol-isms, Weiwei-isms, Haring-isms, Basquiat-isms, Abloh-isms, and Duchamp-isms.
