The Author: Frederick William Dame did interdisciplinary studies in English, political science, political theory, and history at Norwich University (BA) and the University of New Hampshire (M.A.); Adult Education, University of Southern California (MS Ed.); Politikwissenschaft, Universitaet des Saarlandes (Dr. rer. pol.); Anglistik, Universitaet Koblenz-Landau (M.A. and Dr. phil.). He has had a long pedagogical career in the USA with the University of New Hampshire and in Rheinland-Pfalz; with the University of Maryland and the Universitaet Kaiserslautern.
