Francis Crosby

Francis Crosby developed a profound interest in aviation from a young age. After qualifying and working as an archaeologist, he joined the Imperial War Museum’s Duxford branch in England in 1985, a renowned global hub for aviation enthusiasts. He held research and exhibition positions at the museum, led its Marketing Department for many years, and subsequently established his own consultancy. Crosby has authored numerous works on historic aviation and served as a consultant for media and publishing companies. His published works include Bombers and The World Encyclopedia of Naval Aircraft.
