What They're Saying

Critics Review

“F. Darrell Munsell has written a compelling account of both the Claremont Institute’s transformation and the Institute’s transformation of the American Right. From attacks on CRT and cries of ‘Stop the Steal’ to the dissolution of the administrative state and the dismantling of the liberal consensus, Munsell helps us understand the ideological commitments and ultimate aims of the MAGA New Right. For those wondering how the United States has slid so rapidly toward authoritarianism, Architects of Authoritarianism is mandatory reading.“—Chelsea Ebin, author of The Radical Mind: The Origins of Right-Wing Catholic and Protestant Coalition Building
