Ever J. Barbero, BSME-BSEE UNRC (1983), Ph.D. Va. Tech (1989), Fellow of ASME and SAMPE, Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at West Virginia University, Honorary Professor at Universidad Nacional de Trujillo (Peru), Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Spain), and Universidad de Puerto Rico at Mayaguez (PR). He is the author of “Introduction to Composite Materials Design-Third Edition” CRC (2018), “Finite Element Analysis of Composite Materials Using Abaqus” CRC (2013), and “Finite Element Analysis of Composite Materials Using ANSYS-Second Ed.” CRC (2014), “Multifunctional Composites” (2016), and Workbook for “Introduction to Composite Materials Design” (2018), as well as 9 book chapters and 165+ Journal publications. He holds US Patents #6,455,131 (2002) and #6,544,624 (2003) and has mentored over 30 MS and 20 Ph.D. graduates. He is Member of the editorial board of “Annals of Solid and Structural Mechanics” and “Mechanics of Advanced Materials and Structures”.
