Critics Review
“Erin’s beautiful book is an exploration of the heart and soul of being in the world. She skillfully and mindfully leads us through exquisite remote places, walking together step by step, breath by breath, connecting with innate authenticity, integrity, and purpose. This guide helps us celebrate each other’s unique essence and connect with what is most vital to living heartfully.” – Janet Slom, artist and author of An Artful Path to Mindfulness“Erin Leider-Pariser takes us on an expeditionary sojourn of body, heart, and soul. We discover that pilgrimage, when led with care, strengthens the body, opens the heart, and ultimately liberates the soul. The lessons she shares are jewels of life’s path.” – Lisa Miller, Ph.D., bestselling author of The Awakened Brain: The New Science of Spirituality and Our Quest for an Inspired Life“This wise, funny, and honest book brings new meaning to the spirit of adventure. Erin Leider-Pariser shows us how to leave our comfort zones for journeys that challenge the body and feed the soul—all while having a roaring good time. Get Lost dares us to engage with the world and each other in new ways to find the meaning and happiness waiting for us around the next curve of the trail.” – Dan Buettner, National Geographic Fellow and #1 New York Times Bestselling author of The Blue Zones“I knew Erin-Leider Pariser was a kindred spirit when she told me her adventure trips always have a philanthropic purpose that supports the places she visits. Agreeing on such things, including my motto that “Everything is possible—the impossible just takes more time!” made my decision to guide Erin’s group in Nepal an easy one. My wish is that this wonderful book will stimulate people to see more of the natural world, because awareness is the first step in solving the challenges our planet faces. Read, enjoy, and get out there!” – Johan Ernst Nilson, exporer, philanthropist, and award-winning adventure activist“I went on many of Erin’s adventures with small groups of women, trips that were arduous, challenging, breathtaking, and filled with so much laughter my belly hurt. There was love and beauty all around. At the end of each one, our hearts were filled with goodness, kindness, and gratitude. We could then go out into the world and spread the joy.” – Cheryl Tiegs, entrepreneur, actress, and former supermodel
