The authorised biography of Jim Bull, New Zealand's agribusiness leader who became the leading potato grower in Australasia. Starting from scratch, his commitment to hard work and innovative research led to him adding value to his agricultural product by introducing flash freeze technology. He subsequently provided frozen potato chips to every McDonald's store throughout New Zealand. His personal achievements in agriculture extended far beyond potatoes into beef, fat lambs and dairying, but alongside this he worked tirelessly in the community. Jim was awarded a Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) for his extraordinary vision, leadership and outstanding contribution to both farming and the horse racing industry. A story of strength, tenacity and courage, the book is peppered with personal anecdotes and family photographs, plus contributions from many who admired him. Jim Bull has left an indelible mark on his country and will be remembered as one of the most innovative and successful agribusiness leaders of his generation.
