What They're Saying
Critics Review
“In The Last Line of Defense, Senator Schmitt lays out how he used every tool at his disposal to push back against a federal bureaucracy hell-bent on controlling the American people. Schmitt went toe-to-toe with the Biden administration and Big Tech. And in doing so, he reminded us that courage in public office still exists.” – J.D. Vance, Vice President of the United States
“To preserve the American tradition, we need smart warriors for commonsense, our middle class families, and the Constitution. In his new must-read The Last Line of Defense, Eric Schmitt bluntly and compellingly lays out what’s at stake and how we can win the future.” – Laura Ingraham, host of Fox News Channel’s The Ingraham Angle
“Reading The Last Line of Defense is like watching a highlight reel of conservative victories. Schmitt’s legal battles were crucial in keeping the Leftist agenda at bay and buying us the time we needed to get my father back in the White House so we could restore sanity to our government. This book shows you exactly how he did it, how we can keep it going and proves that Eric Schmitt is a true champion of the people and one of the fighters we can count on.” – Donald Trump Jr., Executive Vice President of Development & Acquisitions at The Trump Organization
“Reading The Last Line of Defense, you’re reminded the fight for freedom is never truly over. Eric Schmitt’s time as Attorney General was a masterclass in how to use the law to defend ordinary Americans against the cultural revolution being waged by the Left. He saw the threats posed by Big Tech’s censorship, and he didn’t flinch. If you’re tired of America becoming a post-liberal wasteland, this book will give you hope.” – Mollie Hemingway, bestselling author of Rigged, Fox News contributor, and editor-in-chief of The Federalist
“As Missouri’s Attorney General, Eric Schmitt stood in the gap between government overreach and the constitutional rights of the people, and he did not back down. He valiantly fought back against Covid authoritarianism, the radical agenda coming from D.C., and the relentless attacks on our Second Amendment. In The Last Line of Defense he lays bare the truth about the fight against those who would turn our own legal system against us.” – Dana Loesch, host of the nationally syndicated Dana Show and bestselling author of Hands Off My Gun
“Reading The Last Line of Defense is like sitting in the war room during some of the most consequential legal fights of our time. Eric Schmitt doesn’t just talk about defending liberty–he shows you how it’s done. He walks you through the filings, the strategies, the late-night decisions, all with the tenacity of someone who understands that the rule of law is the foundation of our republic.” – Ted Cruz, United States Senator from Texas
”“Eric Schmitt was fearless in taking on the censorship alliance between Big Government and Big Tech in his Missouri v Biden lawsuit and protecting free speech in America. He was relentless in fighting back against COVID vaccine mandates and winning. Schmitt is the quintessential “Man in the Arena.” His book The Last Line of Defense outlines how he fought back against the excesses of government and won, setting the stage for the reform agenda you see now in Washington.” – Robert F. Kennedy Jr., United States Secretary of Health and Human Services
