Eric Jensen is a former teacher who grew up in San Diego, California. His academic background includes an MA in organizational development and a PhD in human development. He has written more than 30 books, including Engaging Students with Poverty in Mind, Teaching with the Brain in Mind, and Poor Students, Rich Teaching.
