About The Author
Eric Hill
Eric Hill (1927-2014) began his artistic journey as an art studio messenger, progressing to become a cartoonist and subsequently an art director at a prominent advertising agency.
In 1978, Eric crafted a bedtime story about a small puppy for his son, thus creating Spot. The triumphant reception of his debut bestselling lift-the-flap classic, Where’s Spot?, in 1980 inspired him to dedicate himself fully to writing. His Spot books have since brought joy to children globally. In recognition of his contributions to children’s literacy, he was awarded an OBE in 2008.
