Born in London in 1897, Enid lived much of her life in Buckinghamshire and adored dogs, gardening, and the countryside. She died in 1968 but remains one of the world’s best-loved storytellers.
Daniel Duncan (Illustrator)
Dan grew up in leafy Chalfont St. Giles playing football outside when it wasn’t raining, and drawing the rest of the time.
In 2013, he graduated from Middlesex University with a first-class honours degree in illustration and has worked as a children’s illustrator ever since.
