About The Author

Elizabeth Kerri Mahon

Elizabeth Kerri Mahon is a native New Yorker and history geek. While other kids were reading Dr. Seuss, she would read history books for fun. But the more she studied history, the more she wanted to know about the women who made it. The result of her research is the blog Scandalous Women, launched in the fall of 2007 to an audience eager to discover some of history’s most fascinating and flagrant women. The readership for the blog continues to grow with close to six million-page views to date. Her first book, SCANDALOUS WOMEN, was released in March 2011 to enthusiastic reviews.
