About the Author

Elaine Russell is the author of All About Thailand as well as middle-grade readers Martin McMillan and the Lost Inca City and Martin McMillan and the Secret of the Ruby Elephant and the adult novel Across the Mekong River. She has volunteered with the organization Legacies of War, whose mission is to raise awareness of the effects of Vietnam War-era bombings in Laos.

Thailand native Patcharee Meesukhon has illustrated many children's books, in addition to Tuttle's All About Thailand and Thai Children's Favorite Stories, for publishers in Thailand, Australia and India.
