Elaine Forrestal lives and works in the beach suburb of Scarborough, Western Australia, where she shares a house with her husband, Peter. She enjoys swimming, walking, reading, travelling and catching up with her many friends in different parts of the world. Elaine has had magazine articles and short stories published, and she has also written for children's television. Her novel Someone Like Me won the Western Australian Young Readers' Hoffman Award and also the 1998 Children's Book Council of Australia Book of the Year Award for Younger Readers. Melissa Eccleston has appeared in various theatre productions in Australia and Ireland. Television appearances include SeaChange, Blue Heelers and The Bill. Her film credits include Dead Letter Office and several short films in Melbourne and Dublin and voiceovers for television and radio. Melissa is a writer, singer and Celtic storyteller.
