About the Author

Dr. Edward Kim is an Associate Professor and Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at the University of Washington.  He specializes in the treatment of soft tissue tumors and is experienced with photon therapy, brachytherapy, proton radiotherapy, stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), and intraoperative radiotherapy.  He is a member of the NCCN sarcoma guidelines panel.

Dr. Upendra Parvathaneni is a Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Washington.  He specializes in the management of head and neck tumors, skin cancer, melanoma, and Merkel cell carcinomas utilizing intensity modulated radiotherapy, neutron therapy, and proton therapy, stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) and other advanced radiotherapy techniques.


Dr. Meng Welliver is an Associate Professor and division director of hematologic maglinancy radiation oncology at OSU. She specializes in treating soft tissue sarcoma, thoracic cancers and lymphoma (including cutaneous lymphoma). She is experienced in image guided radiotherapy (IGRT), Adaptive radiation planning, endobronchial brachytherapy, stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) and other advanced radiotherapy techniques.
