Ed Brubaker
Ed Brubaker
Ed Brubaker is a multiple Eisner Award-winning writer renowned for his work in comics. He is celebrated for his fan-favorite runs on Scene of the Crime, Sleeper, Catwoman, and Gotham Central for DC Comics. Moving to Marvel Comics, he revitalized Captain America, notably reintroducing Bucky Barnes as the Winter Soldier, which garnered widespread acclaim. His revisionist take on mutant history in X-Men: Deadly Genesis led to a regular role on Uncanny X-Men.
Alongside artist Michael Lark, Brubaker took over Daredevil after the acclaimed run by Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev. He also co-created Immortal Iron Fist with Matt Fraction and David Aja. Brubaker’s creator-owned work, including Criminal and Incognito, was published by Marvel’s Icon imprint. He has continued his success at Image Comics with titles such as Fatale, Velvet, and The Fade Out. Beyond comics, Brubaker has written for the television series Westworld and co-created the crime drama Too Old to Die Young.
Matt Fraction
Matt Fraction launched his career with Last of the Independents and later co-wrote the critically acclaimed Immortal Iron Fist with Ed Brubaker and David Aja. He collaborated with Salvador Larrocca on Invincible Iron Man, which debuted concurrently with the film adaptation. Fraction became a popular writer at Marvel, with credits including Uncanny X-Men, Thor and The Mighty Thor, Fear Itself, and the relaunched Defenders.
His collaboration with David Aja on Hawkeye earned an Eisner Award. Fraction’s acclaimed creator-owned work outside of Marvel includes Sex Criminals, Casanova, ODY-C, and November. He is also recognized for his talents in filmmaking and graphic design.
Marc Silvestri
Marc Silvestri is an industry giant and innovator, known for his record-breaking runs on Uncanny X-Men and Wolverine in the late 1980s. In 1992, he co-founded Image Comics and established Top Cow Productions, one of its four long-standing autonomous studios. At Image, Silvestri created popular properties such as Cyberforce, Witchblade, Weapon Zero, and The Darkness. He has since returned to Marvel to work on New X-Men and X-Men: Messiah Complex.
Billy Tan
Billy Tan is a Malaysian American artist who gained attention for his work on projects like Tomb Raider and Tales of Witchblade for Top Cow. He joined Marvel Comics in 2004, illustrating X-23 and Marvel Knights Spider-Man. His career-defining run on Uncanny X-Men brought him significant recognition, and he was named a Marvel Young Gun in 2007.
Tan’s subsequent work at Marvel includes New Avengers, Dark Reign: The List - Daredevil, Thor, and the Shadowland miniseries. He later illustrated his first project for DC Comics, Green Lantern. Tan resides in Sydney, Australia, with his wife and two children.
