Chris O’Connor and James Brundle are east London-born brothers who, in 2007, transformed a rundown off-licence into Eat 17, an award-winning convenience store & restaurant concept. They created Smoky-sweet Bacon Jam in their Walthamstow kitchen to top Eat 17’s famous burgers. The popularity of Bacon Jam exploded after receiving national attention. It was soon available nationwide in supermarkets and quality independents throughout the UK and beyond.
