Er. T. K. Tagin is a retired Chief Engineer of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh, with over thirty-three years of dedicated service in public infrastructure. Respected for his professional competence, integrity, and disciplined leadership, his work reflected a deep commitment to both development and the well-being of the people.
Beyond his engineering career, he has been an influential figure in the social and cultural life of the Tagin community. As a mentor, elder, and former President of the Tagin Cultural Society, he contributed to the preservation of indigenous identity, supporting traditional belief systems, Tagin cosmology, and the sacred Nyibu institution.
Since his retirement in 2021, he has devoted himself to agriculture and cultural research, focusing on documenting Tagin spirituality, customary practices, and ancestral knowledge. Through his writings, he seeks to bridge traditional wisdom with modern understanding, highlighting the ethical and spiritual balance of Si-Donyi Hilo under the guiding presence of Donyi Polo, while preserving this heritage for future generations.
