About The Author
Dr. Tamara Pizzoli
Dr. Tamara Pizzoli is an African American writer, publisher, and producer who was born and raised in Texas and now resides in Rome, Italy, with her four children. She pens and publishes stories through her independent publishing house, The English Schoolhouse.
Ngabo D. Cesar, also known as EL’CESART, is a twenty-nine-year-old visual artist and illustrator whose work explores culture, identity, and Afro-futurism. Based in Nairobi but frequently traveling, his creative expressions span oil painting, digital art, illustrations, apparel design, and photography. Inspired by Black culture and pop society, El’CESART uses bold colors, textures, and prints to craft visually magnetic pieces that often feature music artists, film stars, and raw, beautiful depictions of men and women. He has collaborated with major Hollywood entertainment companies like HBO, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Annapurna Studio, where his work contributed to the Oscar-winning film If Beale Street Could Talk by Barry Jenkins. His artwork also includes pieces for Lovecraft Country, The United States vs. Billie Holiday, and more.
