John Burke does a masterful teaching job on this very basic learning video. For those of you that are interested in this woodworking art form Burke is the one to learn from. The author takes us step by step through the components of a typical scrollsaw and then on into the basic cutting. Pierced cutting is next followed by transfer cutting. Stacking cuts are next and then onto more complex patterns. Burke shows us how to make a wooden jig saw puzzle and describes what scroll saw blade to use and why. Watching Burke at work will inspire most to take up the art as he makes it look so easy.
