About the Author

Douglas L. Howard is Assistant Academic Chair and Associate Professor in the English Department at Suffolk County Community College. His publications include chapters in 'This Thing of Ours: Investigating The Sopranos', as well as in 'Reading "The Sopranos": Hit TV from HBO', 'Reading "Deadwood": A Western to Swear By', and 'Reading "24": TV Against the Clock' (all I.B.Tauris).
