Critic Reviews

'By turns authoritative as the narrator, bemused as Arthur Dent, deadpan as Ford Prefect and manic as Zaphod Beeblebrox, [Stephen Fry] makes an altogether appropriate reader.' -- The Times
'It's science fiction and it's extremely funny ... inspired lunacy that leaves hardly a science fiction cliche alive.' -- The Washington Post
'Very simply, the book is one of the funniest SF spoofs ever written, with hyperbolic ideas folding in on themselves.' -- School Library Journal
'Irresistible!' -- The Boston Globe
