Don Freeman
Don Freeman began writing and illustrating childrens books in the 1940s. He was the award-winning author of many popular titles, including “Corduroy, Dandelion, Manuelo the Playing Mantis,” and the Caldecott Honor book “Fly High, Fly Low.” He died in 1978.
