Little Thunder is quite an astounding pony, and he and Yakari truly are the best of friends. So when upon waking up one morning, he discovers that his mount has left the village, the young Sioux boy is devastated. About the Author
Derib and Job have been writing "Yakari" stories for over 30 years and have both received lifetime achievement awards for their outstanding work. At the comics festival at Angouleme in 2006, Yakari won the "prix jeunesse 7-8 ans" or "youth prize 7-8 years."
