About The Author
David G. Thomas
Dr. David G. Thomas is an opportunistic author who launches into new literary projects only when he comes across subjects and issues which demand to be written. While researching for his doctorate at the University of Sydney, he discovered the clash between orthodox and alternative medicine in New South Wales. He saw the story of that clash as something worth adding to the state’s historical tapestry. His early career in journalism in South Africa and Australia, as well as his teaching experience in the fields of politics, sociology, and various health fields in Australian universities, equipped him well to undertake this venture. He has been retired for a number of years but still holds the status of Honorary Senior Lecturer in the School of Population Health in the Medical Faculty.
