David Barnett
David Barnett is a writer and journalist based in the North of England. He writes on books, comics, and other culture issues for a wide variety of international press outlets, including The Guardian and The Independent. He is the author of a number of novels, including the Gideon Smith series of Victorian fantasy adventures (Tor Books) and most recently, for Orion Books, the best-seller Calling Major Tom. His next novel, due in 2018, is The Lonely Hearts Cinema Club. Punk’s Not Dead, with Martin Simmonds, is his first professional comics work.
