Rae Anne Chavez, mayor of Haven, the city built by aliens on a moonlet in Saturn orbit, faces a coup from billionaire Sam Durban who sees Haven, with its plethora of alien technology, as his key to enormous power and wealth. Meanwhile, a vast interstellar war between two alien empires rages on Sol System's doorstep and threatens to engulf Earth in its wake. Dan Bishop retired from Colorado State University in Fort Collins after a career teaching chemistry and computer science. He is a strong advocate for sustainability and renewable energy.
